First & Main Assisted Living and Memory Care of Metro Health Village Hosts Toy Drive and Car Show

Wyoming, MI (June 28, 2017)—First & Main of Metro Health Village has announced a special Summertime Toy Drive and Car Show.

“Families looking to have fun and spend quality time together will not want to miss this event,” said Bryan Cramer, Executive Director of First & Main of Metro Health Village, “Our goal is to have our community come enjoy a summer day, look at beautiful cars and donate an unwrapped present to our Toy Drive.”

The Show Car registration begins July 15 at 10 a.m. and activities for all ages start at 11 a.m. First & Main of Metro Health Village will be filling their First & Main community bus with presents until 3 p.m. and donating the gifts to the Metro Child Life Program and Helen Devos Children’s Hospital.

“Community efforts like this help Metro Health support children coming to visit family members or coming in for a procedure,” said Michell Rademacher, Community Relations Associate, Metro Health.

At the intersection of the many resources residents need to live healthy lives, First & Main provides Assisted Living and Memory Care services in a modern environment with main street amenities. The community features patios and outdoor dining areas, a bistro and fine dining options, movie theater, workshop, chapel and a courtyard.

There is also an extensive portfolio of innovative care programs at First & Main of Metro Health Village. The community features award-winning HUR Fitness Equipment to provide a state-of-the-art exercise experience and utilizes Care InnovationsTM QuietCare®, which learns a resident’s patterns and alerts care staff of significant changes. To ensure safety, Radio Frequency Wristbands (RFID) easily unlock a resident's suite, providing convenience, security and peace of mind. iN2L Computer Systems®—an intuitive touchscreen software platform—encourage mental wellness by keeping residents’ minds active through trivia, virtual tours, vintage radio shows and more.

Conveniently located just north of M-6, First & Main of Metro Health Village is an easy drive from the Grand Rapids area, and residents and families have quick access to a Family Fare grocery store, as well as several other retail options nearby. The LEED certified building is the vision of parent company, Granger Group, who spearheaded Metro Health Village—the first LEED Certified Medical Campus in the nation.
