In 2014 Granger Group will begin the next development phase of Metro Health Village. Granger will be commencing development of a new Senior Living facility, which will include Assisted Living and Memory Care, which ultimately will consist of 120 units.

Metro Senior Living will be located in the heart of the Village directly adjacent to the Village Green and approximately 100 yards from the front door of the hospital. The Village offers all the amenities you would expect in a city, including a Starbucks, restaurant, grocery store, YMCA, hotel, credit unions, yogurt shop, and more. On the medical front the Village includes not only the hospital but also a full array of physicians, from family practice to an internal medicine specialist, a VA clinic, heart center, and a University of Michigan cancer treatment facility. The Village truly offers residents the ability to enjoy life while aging in place.

The senior living residence is designed to reflect the comfortable warmth of home. Property amenities include restaurant-style dining, beautifully appointed shared living spaces, hair salon, barber shop, movie theatre, fitness center, library, computer lab, activity room, community gathering areas, outdoor patios, resident garden, landscaped grounds, guest accommodations, lighted parking, and much more.

In addition, Metro Senior Living will have third-party personal and medical support available, such as visiting physicians, blood pressure screenings, physical therapy and rehabilitation, fall prevention and strength training, medication assistance, bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance, mobility assistance, and licensed Assisted Living with a dedicated to Memory Care Unit.
